Kaos Central
Why does Pal smell so bad? I have a situation where a lady whos lost dog ended up with me overnight until she could get her son to pick it up has given me 2 slabs of Pal as a thank you. I opened one can, thinking our older dogs could have Pal and started retching.....it smells terrible.....to the point it didn't give it to the dogs. KitKat
You think it smells going in....it smells much worse coming back out! The only tin food I ever use for the dogs is Natures Gift.

Dog_Horse_Girl
The smell could be the horse meat... Donate the food to a rescue group or shelter (not RSPCA, they don't want it).
Josh Grant
I definitely aggree with KitKat on this one. Nature's gift is a great canned food - and is the only one I will use!
sandgrubber
I think they do taste tests with dogs. Smelling bad to humans probably helps get a good K9 reaction. After all, cat pooh and rotting fish seem to be dog attractants.
