Daisy
I have several large breed dogs and am on a tight budget. I don't have time to feed raw, so they are on a dry only diet with chicken carcasses fed about once a week My dogs have all done well on Bonnie working dog (I pay $33 per 20kg bag) except one who has a delicate tummy and he does well on Supercoat, and one greyhound who I can't seem to keep weight on (have been trialling adding some things like eggs and cheese and fish to his dry). Sometimes I get Supercoat instead of Bonnie (slightly cheaper at $28 for 20kg) but the dogs do tend to turn their noses up at it. No difference in poos though. I tried Coprice once and found the dogs were doing HUGE (well huger than usual ) bright yellow poos - ewww! Went to the produce store yesterday and they asked me if I wanted to try a new brand - Dog Pro made by Hypro. I checked the ingredients and the protein to fat ratio etc and it is about the same as Supercoat and Bonnie, and cheaper - only $24 for a 20kg bag. (At the moment we are going through three 20kg bags a fortnight, plus a small bag of Supercoat for my little guy). I bought some and the dogs had it last night and this morning. They all seemed to like it, but I did't like the smell.... Has anyone else tried it?
