Leather Martingale Collars

Does anyone know if you can buy a leather martingale collar with a buckle or any type of martingale with a buckle?either here or overseas

I got one custom made by a guy who makes leather GSD show leads. I looked around a quite bit and had no luck- I was specifically after one with a buckle on the martingale loop.

Sutherland Shire Dog Training Club (Waratah Park, Sutherland, 8.30-9.30 am Sunday) sell a "half check" collar which webbing collar (I think) with a traditional buckle and a piece of chain. Hard to explain, but it is a little bit like a cross between a martingale and a check chain - but it is limited slip.

Then there is also the clever collar, but I have never actually seen one.

I don't know if he is a gsd person as such, I just know he does alot of leather work for GSD people for shows.

I have an e mail address- I liked the look of a friends lead so I got his address, e mailed what I wanted then he made it and posted it to me. Did a great job too, it would have been very difficult to make.

if you look on ebay for 'leather half check collars' you will find the adjustable leather martingales from UK for around AU$15. I've got one and it's very good

Can you PM the details also. I have been looking for a leather martingle for ages. Found one on UK ebay but it was very expensive. Was going to go to the local saddlery and see how much it would cost to have one made up but havent quite made it there yet.

I tried to use them - lds leather - a few years ago

after stuffing me around (custom collar) they basically ignored my emails. So if you get a business thing going with them it would be good for people like me as their products are exactly what I am after

There is a leather Clever Collar I purchased on a while ago for the record it was of high quality and works like a charm. They also make obedience and show leads.
