Mushaka
We recently moved our guinea pigs from inside, where Lewis ignored them, to a large cage outside. It took a few days, but Lewis discovered them and has become obsessed!! He does nothing else but stare at the cage, when of course he isnt biting at the chicken wire.( already had to patch a few holes). It at the point now that he must be supervised when outside. My other staffy x and my amstaff have a peek at them from time to time, but keep walking, but old Lewis is beginning to have permanent chicken wire indents on his nose Is there anything i can do to get him away from these piggies,or do i have to admit defeat and move them?? Tonymc
Lewis-Lyn, the Dog"s prey drive is being triggered off by the Pigs. The Dog is responding to age old instinct.I would say a move might be the best option.Covering the lower portion of the Cage would not be effective I do not think as he would still smell and hear them.
