barney1
Hi, I have a 1 year old ridgeback. In the last week he has been passing stools with a few drops of bright red blood. The few drops comes out first and then followed by his stool. There is no blood mixed up in the stool, just a few drops before it comes out. A few weeks before hand he has a chronic case of diarrhea, but all seem to clear up after a week and some drugs from the vet. He seems totally normal. The blood drops only started last week. I have taken him to the vet- she is getting me to put him on a special diet, but shorly this could not be causing him to bleed. He has been on the same diet ever since we brought him hom and i have not changed his food. Anyone had the same problems????
