LilKase
Hi everyone, I just signed up, as I'm after some help. I'm interested in taking my two huskies who are brother and sister and about 8 months old to obedience school. I'm not sure if they're too old, young or whatever. But I need some help. They can be pretty stubborn and hard to control when they're together... especially if they see another dog - not to attack them, but to sniff and play pretty much. So you can imagine a 5'2 girl getting dragged along by TWO huskies... I'm in Melbourne from the Western suburbs. So if anyone can offer some direction, it would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks heaps. Cosmolo
I would be looking at going to Four Paws. Kelpie-i is on this forum and runs Four Paws so you could get in touch with her. Have a look at fourpawsk9training.com.au
Kowai
Are you near Werribee? We have a good Obedience club there (I have a husky too) I would recommend getting a training partner as you can only train one dog at a time. Food is great to use while training as I've noticed especially with my husky that she gets so distracted - she's so interested in -everything- thats going on where my other dog is more focused on me. Oops just saw that you'd already signed up! A dogs never too old or too young to start learning Edited August 20, 2007 by Kowai

My hubby can come along, and he'll control the boy... as the girl is mine and more to handle. Also, I'd just love them to interact with some dogs and people so maybe they'll calm down when they see someone new. That's awsome, thank you!!
