StaceyB
Hi Guys, Yesterday I found a small lump on my 12 week old puppy's belly near one of her nipples. My first reaction was to take her to the vet ASAP, but she is due back to the vets in 2 weeks for her KC vaccination and my mum suggested keeping an eye on it and wait till her vaccination. It's not bothering her at all and she's not been acting strange at all. We also have puppy classes tomorrow (Tuesday) night and I don't want to take her if she's not well. What you you guys do - Take her to the vets ASAP or keep an eye on for now till she goes for her vaccination? Thanks guys Stacey
TNT
If it is close to the cetre of the belly- it may just be a hernia from the umbilical cord- our pup had one and (on a cattle dog x) was probably the size of a pea. If you're worried but- take her to the vet- or atleast ring up if you're really that concerned. If it doesnt seem to be affecting her too much, its probably nothing- but better to be safe than sorry. StaceyB
I would have thought that too TNT, but it's no-where near her belly button. I might just call the vets and talk to one of the nurses about it. Thanks for your response. Cheers Stacey
