MolassesLass
Creature Features on the ABC, airing from 4:25 - 4:55pm today. We put pug dogs through their paces, make a delicious doggy meat loaf, and start a new tail about cataract surgery in dogs. Adam meets Port Power players Ryan Willits and Matt Thomas and their hyperactive border collies. The show will feature (in part) the sport of canine disc, filmed at our first competition for 2007 and will no doubt feature a few DOLers and their dogs. MolassesLass
I will be taping the show to add to my canine disc collection and you are welcome to borrow that. The club is being sent a DVD of the show by the producers though, so you could borrow that and I bet it's better quality!

MolassesLass
Sorry Kowai, our club here in Brisbane is currently the ONLY Australian canine disc club. We'd love to have some more competition (esp. interstate) and there was going to be a Melbourne club at some stage but that seems to have stalled. I can point you in the direction of information though. Brisbane & Region K9 Disc Club - The "Getting Started" page has some good tips. You can contact our club from here (or PM me) to buy the discs we sell also. Australian Canine Disc Association - Information on rules, titles etc. OzCanineDisc - Yahoo group (aka email list) for chatting with other canine disc enthusiasts for training tips, brags etc. Edited August 22, 2007 by molasseslass
