Ons
I won't do the icon - Tilly has always eaten chicken wings, chicken carcasses and chicken drumsticks without a problem. A few weeks ago I gave them chicken wings for dinner. About an hour or so later hers came back up in a huge yukky mess - half undigested chicken wings - gross. I thought maybe she gobbled her dinner way too fast without chewing properly, new dog, Flash, in the house may have thought he would take them so put it down to that. tonight I gave them a chicken carcass each and I stood outside and watched them all. As soon as Onslow was finished I locked him away so Tilly wouldnt' think he would get hers, Flash was eating his slowly on the deck - never had anything like it - and Tilly took hers down to the lawn undisturbed. She was eating it slowly I thought. About two hours later - yep up it came - but not nearly as badly as the chicken wings and it looked sort of digested. any thoughts why this is suddenly occurring? I'll have to give her something else for dinner tomorrow night as it was chicken carcasses on the menu again, Ons will be happy he can have two. Golden Rules
Was there quite a bit of fat on the frame? It varies greatly with the ones I get and I'm not so keen on giving so much fat. Otherwise ?????? I wouldn't be too bothered myself unless it happens on a regular basis. I had cats for years before I went the dogs - the former used to spew regularly so when one of the dogs does it these days, I just curse at having to clean it up - never really stop to think why it might have happened. KitKat
Perhaps also check that she isn't constipated...
Ons
she's not constipated she rarely throws up, only just chicken bones/frames - that's what's wierd - and she never used to. I'll just stop giving them to her for awhile and then reintroduce later on.
