Specifically Eagle Pack?

Got a bag of a EP product that I've never bought before but the store was out of the EP brand I usually get (which they love!!).

A week on and still not interested in it at all. Fussy sods! :mad

Do EP offer a money back guarantee on palatability?

I just checked their website and there is no mention of a refund for your dog not liking it (though I couldn't get their Australian one to load).

I haven't heard of any dog food company offering a money back guarantee if your dog doesn't like the food. As far as I'm aware it's just 'too bad' and you have to give away or try to sell the bag you've got to someone else.

Royal Canin, Hills, Euk, ProPlan all have a palatability guarentee as long as you keep the receipt - you just take the bag back to the store - mind you if it's almost empty you may not get your money back...lol.

Not sure in regards to EP/Nutrience etc :mad

I know for a fact that Pro Plan do Bowser. Fairly sure Nutro do as well. The last different brand of cat food I tried (a brand very highly recommended from this forum) ended up being fed to Dads work dogs because even M&Ds cat wouldn't eat it. :mad

When you pay upwards of $10 a kg for super premium food you kind of expect it to be palatable enough that they will eat it.

Thanks Gomez, I will just ring the store where I got it from in the morning, was just wondering if anyone happened to know. There's no mention on the website or the bag unfortunately!

Lesson learnt - only buy stuff you know the fussy little sods will eat!! :mad

I bought a bag of Eagle Pack puppy food a few months ago as this was what I wanted to base my new pups diet on, and having never bought it before, I asked what to do if the pup refused to eat it. The guy at the local Petstock store told me it had a money back guarantee and to bring it back with the reciept....but make sure it was still more than about 2/3 full.

We've given palatability refunds on all the brands (premium that we carry) - EP included, although not too many come back for EP. Although some bags may not specifically say it, we certainly would offer a refund if the dog really won't have a bar of the food and then worry about the petfood company after the fact - it is more important to ensure your dog is eating and happy.
