Kahn
Our 5 mnth old Border Collie Layla has a green tooth  . It is her baby tooth which just has not fallen out and the big tooth has pushed through. It has been like this (green) for about a month. It is loose, I have wiggled it gently. Anyone else had this? stormie
It's not unusual for dogs to retain their baby teeth, but they really should come out. Think a trip to the vet is in order; if its wobbly, they may even be able to whip it out in the consult, but either way, dead teeth are best removed... Scarlet
Get a bit of gauze or thin material. Grab the tooth. Push down, twist then pull. The tooth is hollow and probably stained from eating hence the colour.
Kahn
Good news - after having that awful green tooth for over a month it fell out this morning. We were playing tug of war with a teddy and I noticed quite a bit of blood. I thought Layla had bit her tongue but couldnt find anything. I gave her some water to get rid of all the blood around her mouth and still couldnt find a cut and then I noticed the absence of the green tooth. Yay. Only thing is I wish I could find the green tooth but it is not on the rug anywhere...
