Chew Proof Bedding?

Let us know what the vet says, I am intrested in feeding them to my dogs

Mine wont chew balnkets but most other things get chewed pretty quick

I have found Clark rubber sell a pet mat that is apparently chew proof??

That sounds interesting - anyone have more information?

Ok I have checked with the vet (who gave me a lecture on bored puppies) and she said it is fine as long as they don't eat 3 or 4 whole coconuts a day. She said it would take them ages to go through but a persistant dog could get through 3 or 4 a day and this MAY cause stomach upsets.

I am off to get one now the are around $2.90 each in coles

Kamuzz the mats come is various sizes and the large was around $39 but it was too big to fit in my kennel. They didnt have any other sizes but they also had dog bean bags $59 (not including beans) these were also said to be chew proof but by the time you added the beans it seemed a bit dear.

This coconut idea sounds fantastic, I am definitely going to try it!!

I am also going to check out Clark Rubber and put their "chew proof" bedding to the test - so far my beagles have destroyed the last 4 or 5 doggie beds we've bought so now they get a few blankets on the floor (which they still chew, but only to a point because its not as fun as tearing stuffing out of a futon or basket, I presume!!).

Kermat your beagles are adorable I am going to clark rubber to get one on friday so if you get yours before hand them please let me know how it goes
