~Archie~
www.jointguard.com.au You can buy it from your vet or from somewhere like vetshed.com.au It's a Glucosamine/Chondroitin/MSM product especially for dogs! It's probably cheaper than buying straight shark cartlidge too!
malsam
pups are not suitable, see label.

It's tasteless, doesn't smell, as soon to be appearing in 'treat form', using Vets Best for flavour! Plus. its a little kinder to the sharks... We pay $50 for powedered shark cartilage from the helath food store. It absolutely reeks and they get a levelled teaspoon in their dinner every night. cavNrott
pups are not suitable, see label. Are you referring to Joint Guard or Shark Cartilage? I have Joint Guard here and there's nothing on the label stating it's not suitable for puppies.

joelle
Shark Cartilage should not be given to puppies. DOes it say what age puppies? If it just says puppies, then probably up to 18 months?
Chocolate
The shark cartilage should not be given to any breed of puppy that is still growing and breeds can mature at different ages so there is no specific age. A puppy is going through growth and the shark cartilage closes off capilaries and vessels which you don't want to happen in a growing pup. There is no reason to give it to a young dog but certainly it is immensley beneficial in mature and aging dogs.
