Moring everyone. A update for you. Our second night went quite well I think. We moved lily into the laundry for the ngiht , She had a heater in there to keep her warm. She went to bed about 10.30 & didnt hear a peep out of her till 7am this morning. Very pleased. I know she will take a bit to settle but I think she was happier & warm in there so quite contented. It can only get better from now on.

Some pics i took yesterday for you.

Janis. :D

 Thanks everyone, only 2 more sleeps till we pick her up . :vomit: OHHH the excitment. But i havent yet been able to find a crate. So i was thinking (please tell me if it wont work) but i have a kiddy play pen at home that i used around the old fire place I was thinking of putting her bed & food in there to keep her contained in at night. I am 4 & half hours from home & cant find a crate . Have advertised on here in wanted section. If we get time tomorrow on our travels will see if i can find one.

Yay! You got your little puppy! You must be so happy now.

:vomit:

Re the crate- My puppy hated her crate, so what I ended up doing was getting her a kiddy play pen and putting her bedding and toys in there. That way, she didn't feel as separated from the rest of us when the gate wasn't open. She only goes in the crate now for feeding and travelling.

Good luck- and post lots of piccies.

 Well, we just took our baby to bed with us. I got up for 2am wee wees for a few weeks and she was very willing and easy to house train. She is now 11months old and she sleeps in our room when she feels like it, or she has her own lounge that she drapes herself over. Its really up to you and your lifestyle.

Lily has settled in fine. She sleeps in the laundry at night & has her feed in there etc. She has taken a fancy to sleeping in my washing basket. The basket is a high one but soft & bendable & she somehow climbs in there. :) She is happy & contented :)
