dee lee
Hi, my 7 mo staffy x pup has developed a raised scaly dry spot about the size of a 10c piece on the outside of her leg. Ive been brushing her but she hasnt had a bath for sometime since she has had stitches (on her tail-long story!). Ive heard that staffys are prone to skin problems- can anyone give me advice on how to treat this and prevent it happening again? i was thinking of getting some fish oil. peibe
I would take her to the vet for a skin scraping to see if she has mites, she could have demodex mange, which is easily treated by a vet

It could be a couple of other things, but a vet will be able to do a scrap and tell you exactly what it is.
Roquen
my staffy x lab has a few of those too, vet said is from lying on hard surface plus he has quite dry skin. He has 2 beds and a kennel but chooses to lie on top of the kennel, or on the hard cement lol
