Zoecad Posted July 4, 2007 Share Posted July 4, 2007 My little Maltese cross has started hopping arount on 3 legs only sometimes. We have checked his leg and pads out and he does not cry. Poodle wrangler Posted July 5, 2007 Share Posted July 5, 2007 Nails OK? The fact that he's hopping suggests it's something painful- too sore to put the leg down, for whatever reason. kimjm Posted July 7, 2007 Share Posted July 7, 2007 Does sound like the behaviour of a dog with a luxating patella. which is quite common in small breeds.
