dee lee
Hi, need help in finding an obedience class for me and my largely untrained staffy cross pup. i live in the inner east of sydney and cant seem to find one nearby that runs on a day other than sunday (cant do sundays- hubby works and ive got two toddlers) and isnt for puppies under 18 weeks (missed that boat since we adopted her at 24 weeks!). ive been trying to train her myself - with the help of a dog trainer home visit- but really think classes would be a big help (her recall is VERY sketchy, and she tends to run up to strangers walking by- NOT good). Thanks, Dee (btw this is my first post!!!)java script:emoticon('',%20'smid_11')
MonElite
There are classes at Centenial park - but they are on Sundays. Alternativelly you can come to Peakhurst on Saturdays afternoons. There is one in Homebush - Kavik knows the details or there is mid week at Concord from memory.
Kavik
Hi and welcome to DOL! :p Western Suburbs Dog Training is at Bressington Park, Homebush and has two styles of classes. Pet dog classes are on Saturday afternoons, and obedience trialling classes (this is what I go to) are on Tuesday evenings. For the trialling class, you don't have to be trialling standard, they train with the aim to trial. The pet dog classes are structured differently with games and tricks etc. We have yet to enter a trial  http://www.sinch.com.au/wsdtc/ Manly and Districts Dog Training is at Allan Border Oval, Mosman on Tuesday evenings and at Deep Creek Dog Training Reserve, Wakehurst Parkway, Narrabeen on Thursday and Sunday mornings http://www.northernbeachesdogtraining.com.au/index.htm
