trevagreene
Just wondering if anyone has had any experience with this ? I took my little fella to the vet for an ear infection problem last night, and it turns out he needs to go under a general to have his ear checked for a pollip. Anyway, as a passing commnet I mentioned that he had a little lump or wart like thing on his rear leg. The vet had a look at it and said it looks like a blocked hair follicle. I then mentioned, in passing, "its not a tumour or anything like that" which he then said, well, since he is going under a general for his ear next week, we may as well cut it out and send it off for tests.... Now, even though, im pretty sure its just a blocked hair follicle, as the vet didnt seem to alarmed about it, the fact that he suggested we should cut it out scared the daylights out of me. anyone have any experiece with this type of thing... Poodle wrangler
Sorry, no. I'm not sure why they'd send it off for tests if they weren't worried about it earlier? Probably a good idea to see how much the tests cost, also. Might be better to simply have it cut off unless it looks suspicious to the vet.
