Hi All,

I was wondering if there is anyone on this site from the central coast that would like to assist with some puppy sitting. I am currently working long hours and while my dog gets the exercise and attention she needs it would be nice for her to have some company during the day.

If you know of someone or you would like to discuss this please email me or reply to this post. I would be happy to do some swapping eg: you may work weekends and want your dog to have some company then i could help out with that.

Thanks!

Good idea, Lefki. I'm too far away so can't help out. It may help if you let people know what sort of pup you have?

Thanks for the reply.

I have tried to post a photo but i am having some problems doing it. My dog is a pomeranian x yorkie. (I was worried about writing it as in the forum rules it says that the purpose of this site is to discuss purebreeds)

What people really object to is promoting designer dogs (the 'oodles'), BYB (backyard breeding) and pet shop dogs. Most don't believe any of these are good for the dogs. There's some awful stories about how poorly treated dogs can be e.g. Leo's Story: http://forums.dogzonline.com.au/index.php?showtopic=90139. Many people don't realise that a pet shop is a bad place to buy a dog.

We all love dogs :p . Plenty of advice and assistance to be had here.

Sorry I can't help, though :o - wrong area and allergic to most dog hair family members (hence the poodles).

Thanks anyway! I definately object to the BYB as well and am an avid animal rights supporter! I feel so sad when i see the dogs in the pet shops - i want to go and take them all out of there.

Thanks :)

That is story is so terrible!!!

I have attached a picture of my dog. She is very cute.

Getting back to that story (Leo's) i have done some volunteer work at the RSPCA and the stories that you hear and the animals that come in are just so sad! How can people treat animals in that awful way???

That puppy is GORGEOUS!!! Although I really can't help. I'm about 5 hours away! Pity. I could use a playmate for Bella and someone to talk to about doggy things.

Thanks - she is a wonderful dog

Its actually funny - i used to live in Armidale!

How long ago? I've been there for nearly 3 years.

I moved about 5 years ago now... i was there from about 1997 onwards. It is very very cold there!!
