Rexy, I did not see you!!! Sorry!!! I thought Hastings club put on a great day and the grounds were in excellent condition too, in spite of the rain we had. It really was an excellently run trial imho :p A couple of results - I'm sure Glorybea wouldn't mind me bragging on her behalf... she got a wonderful second place in Novice Bitch with her little girl and a great pass too :mad:rofl: I am happy to report a great improvement in my girl. Working backwards she stuck her stays, did great change of position, recall, stand for exam (no nervous licking the judges for a change and not even one paw moved LOL) and in her heeling, she started to fall apart so desperate times call for desperate measures and I had to talk to her a bit to get her around. The result of this was by the end of the heeling pattern she was much happier (though the poor judge wasn't.... ever had the feeling of points dribbling away as you do the run-through? LOL) But she understood and I had warned her we were having lots of probs before we started. So we are on the up and up :mad

Some other great performances on the day. In fact, I think the lady who won our ring got 197! Lovely trophies with GSDs on the top (wouldn't have minded one of them) too. Anyone know any other DOLers results?

:p :mad:mad

woo hoo - Well gone Glorybea!!!

And Arya - a HUGE pat on the back to you - sounds as though you should be jumping up and down with Tess' work!!!!! Goodonya! I'm glad the judge understood and probably hated taking thos points off

I was showing instead on the Sat and came home with a PUPPY IN GROUP and RBCC with my little 11mth old girlie .

Sunday - Leo had his first run through in Open - I received a few compliments saying he looked nice, but I beg to differ - he was a bit sloppy :D. No lack of enthusiasm though and we don't have any major issues - just gotta work on that d/b! So i'm a happy mum with both of my kids today .

Well done again Arya!

aww thats ok, i dont know faces i know dogs faces tho.lol but couldnt pick u either, i was stewarding with ross in ring 1..

was a great day all ran smoothly no hicups at all. judges were all fantastic and getting competitors thru and all so friendly and happy and helpfull,

the grounds are always great it must have great drainage because it is never muddy or anything, even tho the soccer club uses it as well. apart from the smell of bunnies and birds everywhere. a bit of a distraction.lol

there was some wonderfull results quiet a few titles gained and some very happy owners. well done to all competitors and your beautiful dogs.

AAAH, I was in the ring next to you, Novice 4! So was Glorybea. Ross had some nice dogs in CCD, didn't he. That Black Russian was a big curly boy and my GSD girl was fascinated by him LOL. Ross is good, he turns up to a lot of trials and puts in a lot of judging time, doesn't he :)

Aw, thank you LP :) And a huge congrats on your success with your girl in the show ring. That's fantastic :) Leo is going to knock-em-dead in Open, I just know it. Can't wait to see him in action there soon.

Well done Arya, and WOOHooooooooooooo for Glorybea!!!!! Excelent results!!!

Oscar Update:

We passed two mock novice trials in order to move up to class 6 at Northern over the last few weeks. Score from both judges was 191 so I was really happy. We have been working on open work now for months, and the extended out of sight stays have helped fix his habit of dropping in the sit stay. I think he is ready for competition now.

That is GREAT Dogdude, congratulations. Excellent scores too! He is a lovely worker and a lovely dog. I will look forward to seeing you and he at trials. No doubt we will still be working our way through novice LOL. But at least we are on the up and up now!
