ShellyBeggs
I am quite disturbed by this thread...... muzzles, stalking dogs and an attack....and now mates are turning on each other. I hope the dog that attacked your dog isn't allowed back in the resort so that you can go back there with your dogs without fearing another problem. I hope the manager of the resort has been informed so that they can instigate their aggressive dog action plan. A 'stalking predator' dog could be big trouble and should have had been removed immediately by the owner or the resort staff. I hope it all turns out ok! Flaves
Ok. Having been there and seen the issue. THe managers are NOT AT FAULT IN ANY WAY SHAPE OR FORM. NOT AT ALL. Just wanted to make that clear. THey are responsible. WE were at this resort and an incident occured between 3 of the dogs. 2 live with each other and since the day have had a coupl eof issues. Skoota and Bear were moved away from one another, into different runs etc throughout the day. Skoota was reprimanded, as was Pearl adn Bear when they did anything to cause grumbles. Every single owner that was there did what was needed. The incident had taken place late in the afternoon AFTER the dogs had been seperated for a few hours and were taken into the grass run to dry off. The incident occured, and the dogs reacted as they did. Both Nekhbet adn Joanne feel awful about this. And it is VERY possible that Skoota was feeding of Nekhbets emotions form the last week. He snapped and Bear snapped back. Pearl jumped in to save her brother. Hopefully through training and perserverance any mental damage can be repaired. However Pearl has more underlying issues from when she was in her intensive training that Joanne is gettnig looked at too. If Skoota comes along to the resort again, there is no issue. We will just watch adn keep the 3 of them seperate. Simple. As i said IT IT NOT THE RESORTS FAULT in any way shape or form. J and J how are the dogs doing? Is Pearl adn Bear a little better? sas
I know another person who has 2 dogs that live together and one day out of nowhere it seemed one ripped into the other one......really badly ad there was quite a bit of damage done. One was seperated in a crate whilst it healed, they had supervised time after that, they are now back to normal with no issues. Owner had no idea what happened to cause it or why they can get on now. Perhaps one of those things we can only hope to understand?
