Henrietta
Wow, that is interesting! It's as if they have been virtually untouched from what they were originally. That is amazing. And although I am no expert, I bet that it is the strange weather (climate change) that has caused those bitches to come in late! You kind of have to sit back and take note when your dogs have that kind of history of coming into season at the same time. Wow. Thanks Curlytail. Henrietta
They say that human females living together will eventually synchonise like that too but that certainly wasn't what I have experienced and yet many others have? Yes, apparently that is quite common, but I have never experienced that either. I find that pretty interesting too...why would we synchronise like that? What messages does our body give to others' bodies, that tell them that we are menstruating, even though they don't consciously know? Sorry OT. The same chemical kinda stuff that tells the boys when we're "ready". Probably an evolutionary thing so that the women in the "tribe" are all raising babies around the same time and can pool resources etc. Menstrual Synchrony Do the menstrual cycles of women living together tend to synchronize? A couple of months in of each term, we all started to get our period within days of each other. PMT was dangerous!

curlyking
[The CC's may have used that as a reason for setting the rules but the renowned reproductive vets do not necessarily believe it is the best for the health of the bitch. I have been given the advice of breed them young, breed successive litters and then desex your bitch. Yes, Warley I have had the same advice on several occassions from several repro. specialists.
