Winterpaws
EDIT - SEE POST 7 FOR LISTINGS Does anyone want me to start and maintain a link of pet craft patterns. The Mudgee Mutts appeal got me thinking that it would be good to have a resource of crafty patterns that people can get off the net if they want to help out For instance one of the links I have is for a "condom" or"donut" bed that is easily sew up in an hour (or so the link says ) Donut Bed pattern If Troy was in agreeance we could get it pinned and I could keep this post updated by category - say dogs. cats and reference each one as sewing, knitting, crochet etc What do you think? snarferama
lmao when I first saw "condom" I thought I'd misread, then thought it was an embarrassing typo. I've seen these kind of beds before but never noticed how much they really look like condoms I'll never be able to look at them the same. -Elise

Winterpaws
Edited above to add more (kennels, runs and agility equipment) Thought maybe I should ask Troy if we could move this to general and get it pinned? Any thoughts

Veanna
What a great idea! I have a pattern for a really easy knitted dog coat. Will find it and add it here Here we are I am a complete doofus when it comes to knitting but so far even I have been able to knock up about 10 of these so far for rescue It says to use a specific type of yarn but I have been using 8 ply and they have been coming out fine I'm not good enough to work in the intarsia yet so I just skipped that and continued to use one colour. edited to add: excuse the pen on the second page...my 2 year old daughter thought it would be fun to draw on it Edited June 5, 2007 by veanna

Kirty
I was just given the instructions to make donut (condom) beds this week and have knocked up a few already. Once you get the hang of it, they are really easy to make. I made two for my cats and one for my in-laws dog - and so far, the animals have all approved! Akayla
What a great idea, when I am not so busy with baby I will do up a "how to" for pet portraits. I do these fairly often so I will start taking photo's! Its a lot easier than you think.
