Erny
Dr Bruce Syme actually did a seminar on natural health yesterday locally ... I would have liked to have been there. Dr Bruce Syme is a really helpful person and Vet - unlike many others, doesn't seem to push his own product lines for the sake of the almighty dollar and his suggestions always seem to be for the benefit of the animal, not his own pocket. He also seems to have a good knowledge base on the inner-workings of a dog. I like all of that in a Vet. Should go visit his website again (it's been a while) to see if he's planning on any seminars over this way. Edited May 21, 2007 by Erny
Guest Tiggy
Dr Bruce Syme actually did a seminar on natural health yesterday locally, so i went along. He suggests feeding a natural diet, best made by yourself as people feeding BARF would do. He made the VAN for people who like the idea of feeding a natural diet but don't want the hassle (like myself). He made it as so many of his clients who he suggested a natural diet for went well for a few months but then reverted back to feeding dog biscuits as it was easier. This sure does make it easier. He also suggested adding some grains to a natural diet, as matt said for anal gland problems (wholegrains) and things such as soaked oats, I think for carbohydrate. I'm so glad for BARF Patties, VAN Complete Mix and Ziwipeak . I've had enough of spending hours making dog food every weekend when I could be spending time with the dogs. I'm totally happy feeding these products.
