Just A Heads Up. They're Back! It's Snake Season Again
chelle_k81 replied to LizT's topic in General Dog Discussion
Neighbour's mini foxy died the other day from brown snake.Everything is nicely mowed down everywhere, except the farm across the road.Once when I was a teenager was walking to the hay shed to grab some hay to feed horses.Met a brown sunbathing on one bottom hay bale and I sped up the top of the hay stack...was stuck there untill someone came out looking for me.Numerous other run ins. -
would like to do the same...heartless people to do this to an older dog.

I Understand It, I Just Cant Do It.

Kirislin, I love your photo's.Theres about 7 photographers whose work I love looking at and yours one of them...I didn't even know you don't edit.Don't sell yourself short.I am the only one in this family whose not artistic.I have singers,dancers,drawing/painting.I am a writer/poet but sometimes find it hard to be creative in shooting photo's.I find I have to sit down and really think about what I want to achieve before heading out some days. -
Small Chance?anyone Selling A 7d?
chelle_k81 replied to chelle_k81's topic in Photos, Photos, Photos
Those prices are definately good... secondhand sounds better to tell OH but maybe I will do that with a macro lens instead.I think I've given myself a headache looking at so many reviews and specs.... -
I'm about to update my camera.I have decided to buy secondhand to keep my budget low but still think for what I need the 7D is where I need to go.Unfortunately not many on ebay right now for Australia. What are some other areas I should try looking?I am a complete novice buying overseas but should I look there as well? Or anyone knows of someone who is updating from the 7D and wants to sell.

Im about to upgrade to Im thinking the 7D...depends on what lens I want with it.But I am loving your work!

What lens have you got Kirislin?

Im currently tossing up between 60D and 7D.Just body, no kit.I have a budget and thinking of what lens I can get with each.I'm leaning towards 7D, especially with this Aussie dollar right now.

I have weatherbetta dog rugs but looking for something softer and homemade type like a pj with sleeves for one of my dogs.Does anyone know of someone on here that does them as I think I want something more made to measure so my dog's legs are kept warm as well as her body and something soft in fabric for her coat.Any ideas?Hopeless with the sewing machine otherwise I would give it a whirl myself.

awesome images but to be honest on both links,I felt a bit sick looking at them...those eyes creeped me out.

Not sure but he is gorgeous! -
who is that deal with, interested to know!

Pointees, loved looking at ur pics, (pity about the nice person taking ur pics though).Your horse sounds like the one special horse you only tend to get once in a lifetime.I've still got my special boy that I have owned since I was 10, and he was a weanling. He is rising 22 this year and still the same cheeky personality. The ability to do almost anything I ask him and we know eachother so well, that he can read me as well as I read him.Just think you have so many enjoyable years ahead of you!Now to make it even better I think I need to see pics of your pointers with your horses!

I have so many people on here whose work leaves me speechless but for those who are up there....who do you admire and aspire to be like?

Fantastic show.Watched it today with OH and felt like clapping when she was discussing the problems with the 'Blue' coloured pit bulls from being breed by backyard breeders as becoming designer dogs.Wish that 20 second part could be put in an ad for tv for the nieve purchasor out there, it was so straight and to the point. If you buy from a breeder producing just for popularity and not based on health/temp testing, theres going to be trouble.

I've been searching and searching for a silver stamper to do something similar for me.I wanted a handstamped plaque in silver to attach to my dog's leather collar, similar to racing horse's leather halters with their names on it.But this is even better.

You have done a great job, even being on auto. Some people don't realise they need to move around and position themselves to take a great photo, you seem to have it.Very nice!!!!
