If anyone has an hour or so to spare Victorian Dog Rescue are in urgent need for more Volunteers to man the bbq.

I have two desexed males here. Tommy drinks a lot of water during the day and I think that this stops his pee from smelling as much as Leo's.

We have not had fleas here since the cats went to the bridge. All problems over.

I live in the City of Kingston and have recently obtained Council approval for a third dog so they are not too bad. My dogs are free to roam in my house and backyard but on the street they are all leashed. I have a park nearby that has a section where they are allowed to be off leash. Most of the beaches do have off leash times which we adhere to when we go down there. We mainly go to the beach at the end of Warrigal Road and in the winter they are allowed on the beach. In the summer it is early morning and late afternoon. All in all I am very happy living here.

I bought puppy pens on ebay. One cost me $5 I had to pick up from the other side of Melbourne but still well worth it.

Just checked out the other catagories. Will see if I can also take a few decent photos between now and then. Wish there was more I could enter into too. My sister does patchwork so I'll see if she wants to enter something too.

Last time I went past the park in Rowans Road Moorabbin it seemed to be completely fenced off. I just googled it and it seems to be called Rowans Road Reserve. It is where the Moorabbin Dog Obedience Club meets every Sunday morning. Afternoons are for the cricketers in the summer so I'm guessing Saturdays and during the week would be okay for a bit of off lead running for your dog.

Did you find that it worked? My lot went over had a sniff then moved away and peed on a pot plant.

I bought one of those thinking that the boys might begin to pee up the back of the yard instead of near the back door. They both just looked at it coz it was something different in the backyard and went and peed on the pot plants again. So what I am saying is they don't work..........Not at this house anyway.

I have got a one of those plastic container boxes next to the bed for Tommy the poodle to use. But the steps look way better on the eye. The beddies have no problems getting on the bed.

One look into the eyes of a dog at a puppy farmer tells it all. The sadness. And no life left in them. Look into the eyes of the dogs that most registered have. Love of life and happiness. Huge difference and that is only a beginning.

I had a dog many years ago that ate many packets of Juicy Fruit chewing gum. She was fine I never even thought about what the outcome would be. She was also the one who ate 7 blocks of chocolate. Had a huge tummy ache with that one. But she lived to almost 16 years old.

Bedlingtons are not oodles. And Tommy the toy poodle is not their baby.

I have 2 bedlington terriers and a toy poodle. I also suffer from dog allergies. I am fine with one of the beddies and the poodle but one of my beddies has a sleep smell that I am quite allergic to. That said they still all sleep with me and I just suffer in silence.
