The beddies last bath was probably before Christmas so not very often. If they have a smelly area a wet wipe is great. They are going to be groomed soon so I will need to bath before clipping.

Vinegar always does the trick for me. I blot up the wet spot and then just pour the vinegar on it and let it dry naturally.

When I got my boy we made his bed up in the laundry and had to put up with crying for about a week. 18 months later get a girl. By now I have wised up and I got a crate. Put the crate next to my bed and she slept soundly from that first night. She could hear and smell us. Yes she would have preferred not to have been in the crate but still she was reasonably happy. Also she never messed in the crate certainly helped with house training at night.

Oh Choppa Chop I am sitting here weeping about poor Dolce. Sometimes they are just too broken to fix. Try as you might. You did a terribly brave thing. Fly free Dolce. I know she will be waiting for you.

I have always fed my dogs together. Within a couple of meters. Never had any problems. You just need to watch over them really well.

I'd go the crate too. My boy I left in the laundry at night when he was little and he cried and cried. And there used to be lakes and messes in the laundry in the morning. My girl I crated from day 1 until she was house trained. She almost always slept through the night and never messed in the crate at all. So who do you think was house trained first. Yep the boy.

Anyone in Melbourne want to practice on a Bedlington terrier who is so overdue for a bath and clip. He does get brushed every second day and I cut out as many of the knots that I can find. He hates his nail being clipped and will scream bloody blue murder and his anal glands need doing. Any takers. ;)
