  1. I'm pretty sure most like playing bitey face and chasing. Mine lives with Cavaliers so her playing is toned down.
  2. How about a Finnish Lapphund? I love mine :)
  3. How about one of those bowls that slow down the eating? We had a cat who would gobble his food, walk along the veranda and upchuck and re eat it every morning
  4. I love to have updates but rarely hear from puppy buyers So many promise to send photos but don't. Everyone gets busy I know.
  5. I did one at TAFE years ago. I don't know if they still run them?
  6. Some great advice :) I have a little Blenheim Cavalier the same age. She has a whinge when she can't be where she wants to be too  Kongs are great and I've used them when I've had to leave a puppy alone. When Vienna was a pup I'd leave her with her kong full of her lunch when I went to work for a few hours. Why don't you pop over to the Cavalier thread and share some photos? I put some of Sadie up the other day.
  7. Yes as long as you watch what they eat I don't see a problem. Ingrid was desexed at about 6 or 7 and at 13 she is very fit and not overweight at all. Her daughter was desexed at 18 months and at 10 she's fit as well. Bree was desexed at 7 and at 8 1/2 she is slightly dumpy at the moment so I will cut back her meals and she'll soon be a good weight. They are Cavaliers.
  8. Nice :) I've had Cavaliers for many years but when I worked at a grooming salon two of our regulars were Mishka and a lovely Samoyed so my interest in Spitz started there I think. It took me quite a few years before I got my own. I love my Lappie!
  9. Yes I forgot about the hair! It really did get into everything
  10. Oh she's very cute :) I used to bath and groom a Keeshond called Mishka!
  11. Yes I don't think my Leah quite grasped the life saving bit. When she was young she pushed my son underwater. It was like she knew she had to do something..... He was not impressed! She wasn't much of a drooler.
  12. We had a Newfie when the kids were young and she was the sweetest girl :) Unfortunately she got into a packet of snail bait in the neighbours yard and died just before she turned 6. I was devastated She was gentle and fearless.
  13. Well it seems I was very excited and replied 3 times Had a bit of a glitch with the iPad...
  14. No stockists in NSW so would have to factor in shipping. They do look good though. Very interested to know if the inside is waterproof. I have a sneaky bed pee-er
  15. Disappointing isn't it? Last time I mated Jersey and Tatum and Tatum had one pup and none for Jersey. She's missed again so I think I give up now. I'll have to come up with another way to lose lots of money instead of breeding  Papers ended up getting picked up for rescue.
  16. Lovely son in law put a cap on it so that bits all good. Trouble is the connections burst off when I bathed the dogs Next step is to try some better hose fittings. I'm glad I am using it outside. Yes the connection popped off in the laundry. I had water fountaining out the door
