Jules maybe you could put his lead on and then do some quick training in the house so he doesn't know when he's going to have his lead on for a walk or whether he will be doing a little training when you put it on. I'm assuming he likes to do some training with treats so either way lead still means something good coming....

Connor is an expert at getting containers open too. We reckon it's his long nose getting in to everything

I'd be saying no Awful way to treat any dog let alone a bitch about to whelp.

My friend has a whippet who is the biggest clown. She has rung so many times with stories of what he's been up to this time! I've lost track of the number of times he has helped himself to things she never thought he could get to. He is a lovely boy. It's wonderful to watch him having a run. Sighthounds in full flight are magical! I've made him a coat this week cause he will not stay out of her bed during the day since it's gotten cold. She is hoping he will leave the bed nicely made now but I've not had a report yet Training has been a bit of a challenge with him. She is very experienced and trained dogs to high levels and she had hoped to trial him but he really doesn't enjoy it.

How To Get Rid Of A Mouse Problem With Out Affecting The Dogs

Yes I set traps where the dogs can't get them, in and behind cupboards and other furniture. -
Who Takes Their Dog To Work With Them?
Gretel replied to cannibalgoldfish's topic in General Dog Discussion
Yes that's true and it made me think of something I did the other week. I was driving along when I saw a lady walking her dog. The dog looked such a happy fella and I smiled at him. As I did she looked up and probably thought I was smiling at her. She probably thought I was a loony or wondered if she knew me I guess the problem with dogs in workplaces is some people are very non-doggy. I used to love to take mine to work when I worked at the vet's. -

I'd rather your dog near my fruit and veg than the smokers any day I work in childcare so can only take mine in for a visit if I'm not working. The kids love seeing them! -
Yes I've had bad bean bag experiences too. And for some reason a lot of dogs I've had think they are great to wee in

Yes I make Cavalier sized snoods

My dogs are okay but I've tried quite a few things myself. I'm going to give it a go - thanks For anyone with an overweight dog I would like to say that my knees are feeling a lot better since I shed 16 kilos. Losing weight, if overweight, really does help!

I have the second one listed for sale in off topic if you want it.

How Would A Cavalier And German Shepherd Go Together?
Gretel replied to Sunnyflower's topic in General Dog Discussion
I think it's more the accidental things that can happen when there is such a size difference and a pup involved. I had a lovely Dobe with my Cavaliers and they got on wonderfully. Once she died I so missed her and bought another pup. He was a big solid pup and jumped about as pups will do. He knocked into one of my girls one night and she got squished between him and the brick wall and was very shaken. There was no malice - it was a pure accident but I decided that is was too much of a worry and he went back to his breeder I would love another big dog. Maybe if I got an adult it might be better. -

What Worming Suspension Do You Recommend...
Gretel replied to ravensmyst00's topic in Breeders Community
I used the Troy for one litter and had all the pups vomiting I contacted the company and they sent me out the other wormer and the pups were fine with that one but I can't remember which one made them sick so I've never bought Troy again.
