Just pick him up every now and then. For instance you could pick him up and give him a treat. Pick him up and then put him down for his dinner. If he enjoys going for a walk you could pick him up and then put him down and put his lead on and take him for a walk :)

Training is more about training the owner than the dog and then the owner trains the dog :)

Issy it is a very different scenario yours and the OPs. Cavalier generally do fine with another but no way would I be adding another large breed male to the home with the dog he already has....

Yes it would be lovely to see a pic of the whole family :) I was having trouble weaning some pups once. It took me a while to realise they weren't hungry cause another one of the girls had been feeding them while Mum was locked away :laugh:

Mine have stainless steel. We've had plastic but they get chewed. I have a couple of ceramic ones that I sometimes use as extra water bowls but I manage to drop them and they don't bounce too well :laugh:
