  1. I think most people just assumed that the pup had gotten off the property somehow and was on the road etc. My dad ran my favorite rabbit over years ago when I was in hospital in similar circumstances- he felt awful for years. Just remember Vader as I said before "Things happen for a reason" To be promised pick of the litter is the breeders way of helping them get over this terrible accident as well, do what is right in your heart but I believe taking a pup from them will also help them in this very sad process. J
  2. WOW well done Missy Moo Big Congratulations! J
  3. [ Love the pics. The second one, the dog on the right of pics, is definitely going for the Guinness Book of Records on "How wide can a Stafford smile" - gorgeous. And you could label the car one as "tahen from a speed camera" They are GREAT pics
  4. Vaders Mum I am so sorry for your loss, your heart will tell you what is right, if it were me, you wnated this particular breeder and trusted them so far, the accident that happened is a stalling in one of lifes humps, I would wait for the litter on the ground, just my opinion. Things always happen for a reason my mother says ( I just havent worked out why yet!) Sending strength and warm wishes. J

  8. as you said i the first post your friend tends to elaborate on the truth, I for one believe this is what she May have done in this case!! Maybe they didnt have the $$ to get them out !! and are to embarassed to state the truth, if councils know who the owners are they usually try to reunite the dogs to the owners! If not tell your friend to compalin I am sure if its a true story a current affairs program will pick up on it!
  9. In WA its 3 days with no ID and 7 days with ID but the owners are contacted via letter and phone. The dogs by the sound of it are better off dead if the owner wanted to teach them a lesson!! mmmm Some people!

  13. Emerey I would check your distance as I have run for many years ( retired now) and I ran a sub 4 min kilometere pace (which is faster than average) and when I won major Fun Runs in Perth I was at 45 mins for 12 km even the men dont run 30 mins for 12 K. Its not a great distance you need to cover in training its regular runs over differening distances with soem fartlek ( speed bursts) thrown in Basically the ET is run in three sections 8 km then 15 minute break, 6 km then 20 minute break, 6 km then 15 minute break. In the breaks the dogs must undergo a vet check and the entire test including vet checks has to be completed in 2 hours and 35 minutes. Also the body temperature of the dog can not exceed 40 degrees, taking off the last 15 mins this means 10k per hour ( and with that you must allow for any breaks ( toilet or repairs etc) and the

  15. I worked it out at 6 minute kilometers which you would have to be reasonably fit to do, you can bike and run a leg or run all or bike all! J
