  5. Yes had Banjo (Kelpie) as well as out two Lappies Boots and Asha and got BOB in both You should have said hello Although I seriously barely had a chance to stop most of the day! I think I managed to eat half my lunch I don't mind the Royal as it is a great way to promote our breeds but they both get so much interest it doesn't leave a lot of time to relax. Numbers were down a lot this year - lots of empty benches. But then except for the chance to promote purebred dogs to the public there is no real benefit to going to the Royal anymore. BOB prize was a Perth Royal Show cap... the main sponsor did not provide anything except for BIG and rBIG. We aren't good enough for Advance anymore in WA so no more of their brilliant prizes And we were there from 7.15am and got into our car around 6pm! But saying that I will still go as the benefit of that many of the general public in attendence outways the negatives And yes you get people who pat without asking but most who did that for my dogs often did so as someone was already patting, plus I wouldn't have them where they could be reached if my dogs would have worried about it. A large number of people (in particular children) asked before patting and I tried to thank those who did A lot waited to be asked if they wanted a pat as well And I didn't have one person complain about receiving Kelpie Kisses on their face ;) Congrats Mirawee and thanks for the info, my backside is a fair bit bigger than yours so thats good the railings move! I just go for the Public and breed Promotion, most of the time they ask very relevant questions and 99% are a joy to deal with.

  11. Vaders mum! Congratulations he is adorable, looks like lots of fun ahead!
  12. Great news Vaders mum cant wait for pics. For all you Obedience people, I am sorry you have lost an event, from my limited experience with the Bunbury club, I once asked "Dont the showies, Agility and Obedience people all work together!!" I just got so many looks like WHAT a stupid question, silly me I just assumed the Dog world was a united front, very sad indeed. BUT as they say dont let the bastar**** get you done, rise above and beyond.
  13. Thats exactly what I was thinking Anyone elses dogs shedding like crazy?? YES I have a bit of a problem!! :D
  14. but best of all she is a fantastic person and takes excellent photos!!
  15. Sparkytansy They are adorable amazing as always the colour and coat change. I mean puppies ahh the best medicine in the world!
  16. A general question re the cool coats Are the rip proof for dogs teeth?? How much are they in the Xolo size 57cm tall ?? and where do you all find is best to get them from?? My two were struggling today and it wasnt even hot! They hate the heat Thanks guys
  17. Is Don Burke in here somewhere I cant find him on Facebook! ??
  18. Exact dimensions are a few posts ago but benches are 1m deep and up to 2.75m wide. It would be split into 2 or 3 for your guys most likely 2. The railings are moveable and generally set so that you can have a trolley set inside the barrier and still squeeze past (just!) Thanks Mirawee
  19. Does anyone know how much space is between the walk railings and the benches at the Royal Show grounds? Also how big the booths are? I need to get some cushions and unsure how many to get or what size ? Thanks J
  20. oops here too Happy Birthday Sparky Tansy! Hope you had a terrific day xoxoxoxoxoxo
  21. One, ten! They will make me feel better when Ruby greets the stewards in the heelwork, when she jumps on the judge in the SFE, when she looks at me like she's never seen the drop signal in her life before in the DOR, shall I go on? So, remind me why are we getting out of our lovely cosy beds so early in the morning to drive all the way to Bunbury for our naughty pooches. :D Beacuse I do it every bloody show and I think I should have a sleep in once or twice a year! Well at least till 6am!! lolololol But you have good puppy dogs that make it worth the trip ;) . Mean't to come across for Xolo pats after presentations today and then got sidetracked and missed you. lol Sorry I missed you, I only recognised Sandy because of her dog! lol That obedience looks so much fun ( and hard work and dedication) and I can see how proud all the handlers are, what a super bunch of people, and the nice lady Valeta??sp measured my two dogs for me!! I didn't see any Xolos today! I was there with the ratbag Lab, you shoulda come over and said hi! sorry VCBR I just went to run the dogs over the road and went over for a quick hello to some Bunbury obedience people, then stayed for the presentations and Valeta kindly measured the two for me. Next time I will promise xox
