I think the puppy may have got a bite in on her hand if you watch her as the puppy goes away on its out and back. She grabs her hand and then wipes it. Poor little puppy. She should never be allowed to judge again. The hair in the puppy's face annoyed me too NO thats what JUDGES should do WIPE their hands after touching each dog! But most people in the dog world do not appear to mind this practice!!of touching all dogs and not disinfecting between YES I understand that JUDGES should WIPE their hands after judging each dog!!!! I believe some parts have merit and need a bit of work. But then again all my puppies are desexed before they leave me, so I am biased and working in animal rescue certainly I see my overshare of where the system has failed in the abundance of pupies and purebred/mongrel dogs who wind up in shelters and pounds.

My dogs apparently cost $500,000 all up. People still ask to this day what they cost! Who cares! :dunce:

Sometimes you have NO choice but the six months, I looked at a 30 day country ( Rabies free) but the quality of the breed is not in those countries ( for my breed) so its a six month hike for the dogs, but a small price in a BIG world when one can reverse almost all of the effects they may encounter. It certainly is a tough one, the other option is a doff quarantine station ( I am looking at New Zealand) as they have a more generous exercise program.

all my imports will spend the most time in the country of export as most will allow a Pet Passport so the dogs can stay at the kennel they are from ( testing required etc) It is not as strict as the solid kennel quarantine here and allows for more social development. I had two 12 month old dogs that came here and I believe the lack of social interaction ( and not quarantine) affected them, but after 12 months work they are fully over the experience.

Well I can certainly say I know a judge I will never show under as "They": handle the dogs testicles that hard and SQUEEZE them so hard that the dog is a quivering mess. This is also wrong and they are here in Australia, !!

Sorry I didn't get by to say hi, days seemed to dissappear so quickly and every time I saw the X dogs I was over the other side of the ring or they were in the ring or I was preping dogs or wondering if my rings were going to clash. Could never see you when I was that side of the rings. Thats ok I caught up with Lauren and Carolyn today, I am awful at not moving around lol I just do my own thing and keep to myself! ( A shy girl at heart! lol)

In response to authority figues!! I HAVE and will continue to correct people when they are wrong including judges!! Its not about glory its about right and wrong!!

Absolutely disgusting on both owner and especially Judge part. I did notice at least she wiped her hands between dogs FAR TOO MANY dont bother, ( in fact I have only seen one do this) I prefer they would disinfect their hands when touching dog to dog. JMHO

Wow!!! Last year the same show was 39 degrees!!! Who won what pleasE? No idea I just show and come home! lol I am going back to get my tent later ( left it up to cover some poor fellows who thought it would be sunny!!) The St Poodle won our Group 7

So disgusting that I reckon it would be better if they got no 'press' at all and I do not say this wishing to offend you or any other posters in this thread Wazza Xolo. I know it may be a fine line between denial and responsibility to face up to some things but honestly I reckon these things should be acknowledged but publicly (as in giving them attention in places like forums and blogs) ignored. We cannot stop it but don't give the nutters the satisfaction of attention and I think some of them are after that but that is only my guesss/opinion. And yes I find it very disturbing and there is a point with a lot of these animal cruelty news posts where I have to ignore them to be able to maintain a happy and useful creative disposition to be able to do any good and not be held back fighting the blues about it when I could be doing something more creative. It happens/sh*t happens but we can only deal with the situations that are within our power, our reach and our possibilities to help for change. For the dogs good places; like for instance dogzonline and people like Troy make that possible and for that I say thank you. You dont offend me Lab tested, I see a lot in my work and I NEVER speak of it as most (including here) would be mortified, as you say it is best left unsaid.
