They shouldn't be judging a group unless they are properly educated in the breed standards for that group. It's just not going to happen. lololol Yes I fully agree

of course you can but there are so many things to consider as many have said, I am onloy showing for the breed, wont affect my puppy sales or who I choose to get dogs too. When the breed is more esatblsiehd here I would definately want some agility, obedience and a few show dogs out there, I think for a breed this is a good thing. Not forgetting the pets who are dearly loved and for whatever reason are just that that, pets.

God help us if they Xoloitzcuintle ever gets bred to be an oodle imagine the stupid name ! lol and thousands for a cross bred, it is very sad on all counts

get baby 0000 clothes or use an old wincheater arm or socks thats what I use on the babies with no hair! Ask at pet shops as most have them stacked out the backl for winter

Alphabet I agree totally with your post and applaud you for this. I feel I can comment from the new breed perspective, I certainly agree with the comment "Personally I believe the best way to promote any pure breed dog is to have them out in the public eye; walking in the street, playing in the park, going to the local footy match, visiting schools, hospitals or nursing homes. This type of life is what is offered by many families, they might have one or two dogs and we need to provide them with dogs of great temperament who are good looking worthy members of their breed. These are the people who can keep up the public demand for good quality pure dogs for the future." and having a new breed this is what I will be striving for so I can advance my breed along with placing some dogs in show homes that are exemplary specimens of the breed. Not all dogs are for show and I hope we dont end up with a Doodle Society,

and............................ thats what is so wonderful about the DOG WORLD the attitudes of some, everyone knows its a cross bred litter, the person was only asking for advice. As far as I can see everyone is a person and entitled to help, some will give freely others will close their doors, just be aware the person you kick today may be the expert you well need tomorrow!! Good luck with your puppies but please heed advice and look at the possibilty of having the bitch desexed

Thanks pap we will just go under the trees, we like to keep out the way lol The dogs attract a lot of traffic and the other showers get miffy about all the Jo Blo Puplic coming in BUT thats what a new breed needs, see you up there

it was a local Judge who made a point of telling me all about the standard I was very impressed, that people take the time to remember, it menas so much for the breed.

Hugs to you Mason and good on your mum for knowing when the time is right, its the most unselfish gift we can give our pets. xoxox

It would be nice to acknowledge a Judge who can look beyond a face to the dog. Here's hoping there are many more. I have a Junior Handler handle him to perfection and never use names as I believe my dogs can stand alone as they are good examples of the breed ( and thats not just me saying that! lol)

we were showing every week to title both and we have had in class wins with both and a RU in Group we are reg short listed which is good, we have faired better under Int judges who know what the breed is, but we are very happy with the interest shown by Judges all over Australia.

Strength to those who are in the fire and its path, my son in law has been out there all day and is returning later tonight. May the wonds die down and no more be lost in this awful situation. What on earth is the world coming too ? So much bad devastation everywhere
