  1. Thanks guys, all good, relieved in fact as I had an order from Russia and Germany and all I could do was worry about the snow and how cold it may get!! Funny how some things seem at the time, we are good and in fact has the thoughts, "If it wasnt meant to be then there must be a very good reason" We will wait for next time and enjoy others wonderful babies in the mean time. Also the new import when it eventually gets here and can be trained!
  2. I had one issued three months ago and it took 4 weeks, hope that helps. I had agents doing all the work.
  3. Some sad news last night!! Last night we received a visit from the god Xoltl, he decided that the Xolo puppies were so perfect and so precious that he would take them back to Mictlan. Taha Daha is well and recovering. Some things happen for a reason and obviously this was meant to be. Next time we may be blessed, now comes the heartbreaking job of telling all those with their hearts set on a baby cuintle!
  4. Thanks Mirawee they are excellent in the sates and those that follow in the BIG countries would know!! I will no doubt send the coated overeast as noone seems to want one here but a few east are interested, sad but at least it can do what they do best!! I have high hopes in what I know they are good at!! I LOOOVE the name Nigel was exciting to see on FB he finally arrived, gorgeous!
  5. I think the Singapore Kennel club might not agree with the person that rang you. I have friends on my facebook list that are Singapore KC members, and I believe a lady from WA who shows has just returned from Singapore where she showed some Poodles over there, happy to ask for you re the poodle breeders there!
  6. I posted this is another thread but thought you agility/obedience guys here in WA may know of someone.... I am looking for someone who is keen to have an agility/obedience dog from puppy stage and is involved in the sport to take on a coated xolo puppy. They are very widely used in the USA and with great sucess. If you know of anyone or are interested please email me at [email protected] regards J
  7. Just wondering if this is the thread to ask........ Is anyone looking for a possible agility dog for the future? I am expecting a litter and with this I expect a coated Xolo ( exactly the same as a Xolo just with a coat similar to a Kelpie coat) Looking to place a Xolo in an experienced agility/obedience home. They are very sucessful in the USA with both sports. Please feel free to email or PM me [email protected]
  8. yes, and why I am happy with a few!! Hopefully one will be show quality, !! I have to get a lady in to mind mine as i cant stand the thought of mega clean ups when I come home end of the day!

  12. Just a note of caution for anyone that was in Bunbury at the small BDDC show on the weekend, we have had a lot of KC down here over the last few weeks! Guess I should have posted before but been busy ( sorry) J
  13. woohoo, it feels so good to be on a list!! Thank you BB!!
  14. I'm guessing the Goon Show eta - oops I think I'm confused - eckythump was in The Goodies, not The Goon Show it is for the goon show and the goodies but I love Eccles cakes too, my mum used to make the best ones ever. I call my brother Eccles re the goon show and the saying 'eee ecky thump' is a saying I grew up with and loved the goodies take on it. Thankfully our fantastic breeders have the same silly sense of humour we have :D The breeder Kaye made the blanket for Eccles and my puppy pack was mind blowing even though they knew that I know most stuff they went through every little thing with me too. I am just so impressed and she is a beautiful well socialised puppy to dogs and people and kids and babies... exactly what I wanted to say nothing of being the same lines as my original golden all those years ago. We are very very happy and thnaks for your lovely comments. You will see her around the traps...might give retrieving a go and hopefully agility :D Anyone wants to come and visit in the next 4 weeks will be made very welcome ! Congratulations Rusky, absolutely lovely
  15. I have a meduim sized breed and will be desexing all pet puppies before they are rehomed. My breeder has been desexing at 10 - 12 weeks for many years and has had no devastating bad stories, I think each person must research and do what is best for them and the breed they are dealing with.
  16. Thanks everyone, it will be exciting to share each others joy, Good luck to all, will post fat dog pics when I have some!
  17. I have an add to the litters due in November!1!! Please add the FIRST ever AUSTRALIAN born Xoloitzcuintle, due Mid November! Now to be known as little cuintles! lololol
  18. Some people just crack the poops when they lose!! I believe!! Well done emery! Firstly, I didn't "lose" as such, I was Baby of Breed (ok, he was unopposed but still ;p) Had I gone on to win Baby in Show under this guy my comments would still be the same. I have been showing for 20 years on and off, and the only time I have ever 'cracked the poops' as you put it is if I feel my dog hasn't been judged correctly, fairly or treated with respect. He was very nice to Jerry in as much as he talked to him etc, but I still maintain he was far too rough on his testicles. And no ifs, ands or buts - it is completely rude to ignore a dog and have a convo outside the ring whilst you are supposed to be judging it, regardless of what you do with that dog in the results. Just my findings on the day, I am as entitled to state what I found with this judge as anyone else. No poop cracking here ;) Well done on your day Emery , and sorry that Chance hurt his foot... what a bummer! Hope he's much better now. Edited to remove post from the existing quote keep ya knickers on Poo Yong it wasnt directed at YOU it was from all the whiners about tyhe German Judge who is in fact an excellent Judge ( so sorry you took offence it was not a9imed at any person just the general feeling from the WHOLE Dog community!!) my knickers are firmly on, thanks! I'm sure some people think he is excellent - but if the 'general feeling from the WHOLE Dog community' is of the opinion that he is a bit of a twit then you do have to wonder if there's something in it... ;) There are several judges I would class as excellent but I'm sure that some wouldn't agree there either :D Ah well, each to their own... I guess excellence is subjective in this case! Of course it is, but in the BIG world he is very well thought of, and thats from International competitors not WA people, I cant speak for others as like I said I just got it from the Ints that I chat with. A lot of people have trouble with the way the FCI people and shows are, very different from here, in a perfect world all would be the same, worldwide and that would be GREAT!! ( in my eyes) and save me a lot of trouble with archaic practices in Australia that one has to constantly challenge for the good of some breeds, but its all in good fun after all, knickers or none!

  21. Glad to see a judge taking temperment into the equation I am glad my dogs are great temperment wise i am wary of what i have read of the german judge very fast i hear. hmm they aren't too keen on holding mouth open though for teeth to be counted :S Hubby brought me a dremel for the dogs nails now stupid question if i hit quick does it cauterise due to speed or do i still need to have corn flour handy? I had the German Judge with the Xolos and he was great, the Xolo is very wary of strangers and he handled them accordingly, he knows the breed and put the best dog up which most Judges miss!! I even spoke to him after the show about his Judging on my dogs and he was very well informed and super pleasant. I use a Dremel weekly on my dogs Emery and have never hit quick, I guess that doesnt help!
  22. Shame that, he is very well credentialed and respected by the German Friends I speak with, its sad the WA does not get a lot of FCI Judges they tend in my opinion to Judge dogs a tad differently be it wrong or right!
  23. Exactly why I could not work a breed stand, I have enough trouble trying to convince "morons' there is NO such thing as an ALLERGY FREE breed! If you are there Tuesday L will see you then, otherwise good luck for Fri!
  24. Even though it seems they are not accountabel but to their own, religious issues are under discrimination laws I would have thought, and none of us are immune to that
