Extender leashes, normal leashes... either way.. even if the driver of the service vehicle didn't see the dogs.. wouldn't they notice the human?? or wouldn't the human notice the vehicle?

Load of crap about the wife being assaulted... Why exactly did he leave his phone in the car? And why exactly was he getting it to call police? To tell them a puppy stole some bread? Get real.. he was going to the car to get the steering lock because he planned on hitting two people with it. Gutless wonder had to hit with a weapon.. not even bare hands. I hope someone hits him with a steering lock.

Basset :rolleyes: Completely dependent on cuddles, good for walking but without a high energy level, nice deep woof for guard dog duties.

If Jed or her family need any help with any clean-up or anything at the property (probably not for a while) just say the word and I'll ditch work and drive up with my ute and bring tools and do whatever I can to help.. even if it would just be to camp out at the property for a few days to make sure things are safe.

When I decided I wanted a Basset almost 6 years ago.. I wanted a tri-colour male.. because I liked the colour. I ended up with a red blanket female because I fell in love with Ruffles the first time I saw her at about 3 weeks of age. When I decided to patch up my wounds last year and get my one day dog (Tibetan Mastiff) I wanted a pale gold male, there were no boys that colour in the litter I was interested in, so I got Indira.. she is turning out to be a gold dilute and no where near the colour I originally wanted but it seems to make her more precious to me because she is such a unique colour for her breed.. At least with the saint bernards you don't get too much colour variation so I can never be disapointed

Hiya I've never done obedience classes before, so am looking for a recommendation in the Canberra area? Indira is very very intelligent and I have no idea what I am doing.. sometimes she is food driven.. but nothing really holds her attention for long. The main thing I want to work on is recall.. but she also does not really listen/respond to 'No' or if I 'bark' at her when she is doing something naughty. She has a lot of potential but I am at a loss as to how to get that out of her ;)

Okay.. my show stuff seems to be MIA since I moved house (again).. anyone have an arm band I can borrow if I go in the ring on Sunday/Monday? I'm pretty sure I know where one of Indira's show leads is.. *sigh* I hate moving for so many many reasons. Oh and peaking? How do I know if she's peaking? lol
