I am very happy to announce that my Springer Boston got his 3rd pass in CCD today at the Gordon Setter Club Of Vic Trial. He finished with a score of 94/100 :p

It's not the DOG who is uncoordinated! I am the same as you................. even have trouble throwing the dumb bell ;)

I use dried bananna and apple, 1 of my Springers has had bowel surgery (with compliactions) and as a result he cannot tolerate fat in his diet, the bananna and apple are fine with him, the rest of the Springer's will eat anything. Also see if you can get some Thornit powder for his ears, great stuff.

I agree with dogdude and i assume you are refering to a Springer, focus is so important and lets face it Springer will do anything for food. My Springer doesnt take his eyes off me during his stays and he is trained with alot of food but only when his does the exercise correct. Good luck.

I hope all goes well for Occy and he recovers fully. I do love it when the vet says keep them quiet, easier said than done Good thing he is not a Springer. Quiet this does not happen with them :D (only when thay are asleep)
