  1. RIP Diesel run free at Rainbow Bridge
  2. oooohhhhhhhhhhh I didn't even think of breeding my black maltese! Now that has got the brain ticking over! oooooooooooooo I want more than one black maltese now! I better have 6 females and 1 male thank you but make sure they don't eat much, that would eat into profit margin! maybe one should be a tan maltese coz then the pups might be black and tan and I could sell them as a teacup rockwheeler!!!! yipee!!!! thank you!
  3. can you please get me in time for Christmas a black maltese but it must be purebred and it must be toilet trained and it must not bark or shed any hair and it must not dig any holes and it must be a perfect puppy! Oh and I don't want it any older than 6 weeks! thank you!
  4. Onslow at 5 next week stretches out like a horse does and wees, he was desexed at about five months old, he has never lifted his leg I have had FlashBazil for just over two years, so Ons would have been three when Flashy arrived and Flashy mostly does lift his leg (foster failure desexed when approx 1 year) but that hasn't encouraged Ons to lift his leg, he just wees over the spot Flash does when they are playing their macho games with each other and no Flash doesn't laugh at Ons at all Interestingly when ons was a pup my maltese was alive and SHE would lift her leg on everything but Onsy never copied.
  5. 1st one a poodle dressed in a lamb's costume second one a staffy dressed in a poodle's costume that's my guesses
  6. I liked going to puppy school with Tilly, I had never lived in a town before where there was puppy school when I had a pup. She was a big older than the other pups because we had only just moved. The only trouble is that it only lasted three weeks, would have been much better for four or five weeks for her Tilly is a very submissive dog and unsure of new situations. She really didn't get any confidence to play with any of the pups until the third week but she loved the people there and she loved the barbeque chicken they gave as treats she also got to socialise with children which she hadn't had any contact with, they loved her and played with her more than their own dog Best thing I thought though was because it was at the vets that she associated going to the vets with good things I would go just for the social event and doesn't everyone love to talk about and show off their pups! I didn't agree with everything the teacher said but that didn't mean I had to do it.
  7. what a wonderful tribute RIP Patch

would they be a good show dog for an experienced owner but a first time showie? How are they around big dogs? thank you :-)
  9. how adorable are they! I wouldnt' be able to choose which one to have!
  10. absolutely wonderful photos TLC. Sonic is a a beautiful pup as are yours. Mine do that too, if there is another dog they are playing with and they want a rest they go into their own little group and huddle together
  11. oh my goodness! how utterly absolutely adorable lucky lucky you I like Jed, I think that's a cool name!
  12. my large golden male retriever could quite happily live in an apartment provided he got a 20 to 30 minute walk a day and could look out a window to see what was going on. My sister's border collie happily lives in a small courtyard in Melbourne, but is taken to see her horse every day and for walks with the teenager.
  13. just make sure that he has more than water bowl just in case something happens to that
  14. RIP Bo in the paddock in the sky
  15. absolutely beautiful all of them i love seeing horses, magnificent animals thank you for sharing the photos!
  16. same, my sweet little Matilda-Rose, golden retreiver, was such an obedient puppy and then hit six months - no way was she going to listen to her mum! But she grew out of it. training, training, training is the key
  17. I think it will take you about 12 hours at least. Can't you drive at least some of the way the day before, I'm sure there is some friendly dog accomodation somewhere. Otherwise you will be exhausted for the lesson. When I took Onsy and Tilly we went the afternoon and then the next morning. We stayed in a place that had accommodation in train carriages, it was cool, at Bilpin from memory!
  18. I'd go down the New England Highway actually rather than the Pacific Highway. Quicker and better road imo. And you can chuck a left go under the bridge at Singleton and head up to Steve's that way. Lots of places that you can stop and give dogs run. And you can call into my place for a cuppa coz I'm just 5 mins from the New England Highway north of Tamworth
  19. is that Steve from K9 Force? if so he was a life saver to me when I was having problems with my boy being dominant towards me and his sister and a "I can do what I like" attitude. Now from techniques learnt, Onsy knows I'm the pack leader and we are a very happy generally harmonious family that has greatly expanded to include another dog and 3 cats and the odd occassional foster dog You will learn so much! I thought my drive of 6 hours was long but yours is
  20. RIP Sasha run free at Rainbow Bridge away from utterly absolutely scumbag owners :D ;) hope kharma comes back at them in a huge way!
  21. just curious as to how it took 12 hours to cook the biscuits? they do sound yum though mine all love apples, tonight they all shared a cold crisp green apple straight from the fridge. happy doggies.
  22. Well what the hell are you doing trying to get a dog off one???? and more than one rescue too!
  23. It's a pity that the Rescue Group didn't have you in Court recovering their money for their dogs I noticed that you didnt' mention that in your tirade!
  24. awww absolutely beautiful love newfoundlands, gorgeous dogs! do you have 3 of them?
