I agree 100%, I have never seen a dog that has had too much prey drive to be trained correctly. Poor handling and training methods for high prey drive dogs I have seen in bucketloads though.

I will have a chat to K9 Force about setting up an auto reply message for his email account. I think he should have it say "I am busy either doing dog training or interpretive dancing, I will get back to you asap" he could even include a few small photos of his dancing and dog training in the auto reply message.

K9 Force is a pretty busy man, He has to juggle dog training commitments around his interpretive dancing classes, unfortunately that doesn’t leave much time left over for him to answer emails. Have you checked out the list of clubs on the Dogs NSW website? http://www.dogsnsw.org.au/region-metro

I am not sure what size you need to use for ANKC obedience trials but you can find a lot of dumbbells for sale by going to google and typing in "schutzhund dumbbells" there are various different sizes and styles available.

I was one of them, and I stand by my suggestion to him. I think Midol is heading in the right direction with his pup and I am very pleased with the progress he is having with Montu’s training. I was the one who put Midol in contact with his dog’s breeder, I was also the person who put Midol in contact with an appropriate trainer in QLD to assist him with raising and training his dog for protection work. I have no issues with the way Midol has been training his pup so far, and I do not see why anyone else should be having any.

AFAIK fordogtrainers equipment is made and sold from Israel not the USA.

I suggest you contact a dog trainer and have a few private lessons before you go out and purchase a prong collar.
