for those of you having trouble with dogs eating liver might be worth trying to give it frozen? I never used to be able to get her to eat liver either, but frozen she would eat it. I get the butcher to chop it up for me so i don't have to handle it then spoon it into ice cube trays then when frozen put in freezer bag and give her 2 ice cubes worth 2 or 3 times a week. Though this method doesn't work with kidney :D wonder if i get them to mince the kidney and mix it through the meat if she will eat it?? My butcher will mince liver as well which is what i used to do but don't need to anymore. Now she will even eat liver fresh but for some reason i continue to freeze it into ice cube trays Then i can do a bit of training with her and reward her with a piece of frozen liver

ahhh good to hear the 3 are now over and done with!! Not a cheap lot of bad luck but as you say could have been far worse! It was no problem to put up the posts on your behalf, I just copy and pasted :D

This stuff is green anddoesn't really look quite as porridge like as the VAN and obviously has less ingredients and no veggies but its a sort of similar product. It Says 100% Australian product on the website. hmmmm that is a bit of a disappointment I mean not that i was hoping that Mandela had a malfunctioning Pancreas, but I was hoping that some sort of results would show up Well lets hope this means that whatever it is ends up being really minor and easy to treat Erny is it worth getting in touch with the breeder to see if any of the other puppies have anything like this and how they are tackling it?? Also can you possibly get in touch with the stud dog owner to see if they have come across something like this?? Obviously i don't mean accuse them or anything, but i would suspect an ethical breeder would want to know about issues their puppies are having anyway?

Erny, No we are not doing the seminar unfortunately I have a 12 hour shift on the sunday and having just come off 2.5weeks Annual Leave I knew i would be pushing it if i asked to have Sunday off as well I am sure it will be lots of fun and very informative though!!! I get the impression that the whole point of taking your dog is to do some practical work? But I am not sure. You can fill me in on it when its all over ;)
