Thanks for that, everyone one has been very helpful with this. I won't be going through bark busters and I will have a look at that book. Cheers guys. -

Wow, thanks for that stafford!! -
Great to hear, thanks for the reference chealseasmum. I think I will try it as my dog doesn't even notice a choker chain.

Oh, good to hear, I can't find a pet shop that sells them though. Thanks for the reply.

I am wondering if prong collars are legal in WA, and do they work well? I have a high energy dog that is getting too big to play tug of war with for an hour when we walk. Please don't turn this thread in to a debate about the collars, I just want to know if they work or not.

Aggression And Socialisation

Thankyou, well do you or any one know a suitable trainer, I live in Perth and was thinking about going to Bark Busters, does anyone know if they are good? Please share your opinions. -
My 1 and a half year old female, kelpie x staffy is aggresive towards people, especially children and dogs. I am guilty of not socialising her as a puppy and I am afraid I may pay the price for that forever. Is there any hope of her losing the aggression?

Accident At Shopping Centre
Mag dog crazy replied to TwinSpirits's topic in Training / Obedience / Dog Sports
Don't know why she did it but don't worry about the other shoppers and don't be scared to go back there. I have found the people out in public to be very un supportive when training my dog, they don't really understand but thats the way they are so get back to the shops other wise you wont know the real story behind your puppy's toilet trouble.
