Hey guys i was just wondering what kind of eye you have for your dogs coat. I personally am very critical of what my dogs coat looks like. I also add things to my dogs diet to help the look of my dogs coat such as canola oil. I can sometimes spend ages brushing my dog making sure the coat is perfect. It even gets to the point that when im in my "I want you to look like your going to a show in a few hours" mood my opinion of my dogs coat can change hourly(is that bad?? ). One minute i will think it looks perfect another moment i will thing it dosent look right. As a result I have a dogs coat that needs to be looked at through sunglasses when hes in the sun ;) ( and I only have a labrador!! id hate to think what id be like with a dog that requires constant grooming) Id also like to know what kind of shampoo you guys use ( im sure its been posted many times but im new) I use Black on Black first then my Aloveen shampoo and then once he is dried I put in an Aloveen leave in conditioner Thanks for your replies

welll if the vet has told you not to give him raw food i would go with what staffy-lover said. My lab went off his dry food (hes such a fussy eater) and so i started mixing it with raw food and it still didn't work, he would eat the raw and leave the biscuits. I then decided to change to eagle pack. They are a much smaller biscuit to what he was used to and i usually mix it with youghurt or warm water to soften it and it has worked for me ever since. I even add raw food to his diet now and he will eat his biscuits with it, when youghurt is added. Just out of curiosity did the vet tell you why you should not give him raw food??

Thats great that shes slowly recovering Pampa. I would never touch rat posion or snail bait again after my experience and whenever i see them in the supermarket it sends a shiver down my spine. Hope those bruises heal up quickly and you will be able to play with her again in no time. She definatley looks like a tough cookie to me. :D

OMG pampa im praying for u to I had a similar incident with my yellow lab, (he got into snail bait while i was at work one day), i came back from work and went outside to find him and couldn't...... i spent most of the night wandering the street looking for him. I then found him the next morning behind our bush... Dead I then found the empty, chewed and ripped to pieces snail box. it was absoultley terrible.... So i know how you feel and my prayers are with you and your girl. May she make a full recovery and you have many long and happy years with her... i missed out on that with my boy. Ill keep reading this post and keep track on how shes going.
