I much prefer shortlisting than leaving everyone standing, it also gives the dogs left in contention more room to run You've had your shot in the breed and won that, so I don't think it's rude to essentially say 'Thanks, but you're not a competitor for the bigger award'

The Bracco bitch in Adelaide did produce a singleton puppy, a dog who was shown as a young dog, but I haven't seen him for a while. I also haven't been to a whole heap of shows, so don't read anything into the fact that I haven't seen him recently

The main thing is you can't let them dry out, so on a shortish walk they'd be fine, but on a longer walk on a warm day you'd have to be really careful

Poor thing, that must have been really frightening. I hope the council asks for proof of euthanasia. Having the dog on a chain long enough that it can reach outside the ute & have a crack at an older lady doesn't scream responsible owner.

Pointscore aside, I love Dog Show Poop, it's a great blog I like the proposed changes Troy. I know that some dogs love being at dog shows, but I do worry about the ones that get shown constantly, sometimes they must love it a little bit less than the people on the end of the lead

Weston is one messed up unit, he's in the news a fair bit for all the wrong reasons. I don't think his dad is much of an example, I think he got arrested recently for battery & public drunkiness? RIP dog, hope you went quickly away from your horrible circumstances

Frenchies are first breed up in that ring, you'll need to be there at the start of the day. There are no set times, the breeds run through their catalogue order, so timing depends on numbers in each breed and working around morning tea and lunch times
