I would suggest and english pointer as well, I have one and Aussie Shepherds and I think the gundog would suit your needs much better, short coat, loves a snuggle on the lounge, loves getting out and about. I wouldn't call the Aussies wash and wear though, which have also been suggested

Ive used RR on my old girl when we had to take her to a show and it zonked her out on the chair, I'd use it again if I had to, because having her sleepy is better than having her stressing her head off. I think we gave her about half a dropper?

I love my OKS trolley. being lightweight was the biggest bonus for me, as i was lifting it on top of the car, and now onto the back of the trailer. (which is a big deal for me being 4'10!)

There is no way I would shave a pug. When I had Gherk, I would get that much hair off her in one grooming session in spring/summer, When I bathed her, she fully clogged the drain three times with all the loose hair, and then I had to blow her coat out with my dog dryer, then I would curry comb her. I agree with Readysetgo.. He sounds normal to me!

We have floating floors throughout the whole house, with a bit of vinyl in the back part that we havent yet renovated. Love them, the dogs slip occassionally, but its more when they are being silly (mostly chasing the cat!) and it never lasts because thats when I turf them outside :D

I have a doggy booster bath, which we use in the back room of the house (connects to our bathroom tap) and they get a bath whenever we have a show - They had one last night and it had been 5 weeks since they had had one, at other times its once a week.

I love my oks trolley, makes several trips to the car two trips! I load up the trolley and push, OH carries the gazebo, then we go back and get the dogs and they walk :p Unless its raining, then the princess rides in the trolley too! (pushing Peach is the second trip)

Alera is lovely Evolving! Rain, Show training is held at Hillsborough every second Tuesday night (this Tuesday) starting at 6:30 if it isnt raining! Cost is $2 per dog! We go as well with a red merle Aussie shepherd and SB's pointers brother, Frank

As odd as it sounds, ILDD is reffering to her puppy as a boy, where Jibba has reffered to it as a she, so maybe someone has been sent the wrong picture?

Our Pointer puppy is 3 a half months and yesterday he went around the block for his first walk. It was so slow it took us about 15 minutes while he stopped and checked everything out, Previous to this he has just been walked at shows.

Peach has been going great guns as well lately, getting Bcc and then RuBOB over a grand champion :rolleyes: So she is now on 37 points! Which of us Novacastrians are heading out to Hillsborough this Saturday? Hoping Deb will be there to see how big Stella has grown! Is she up into minor yet? Peach went lame again last Sunday but she was looking fine tearing around and jumping over Sparky this morning so fingers crossed she stays well and we will be there! If not, it'll just be OH with the pointee because I'll be at home with the shits
