LOL what show training do you go to poocow? I was reccomended on in sydney, apparently the lady is very good and its worth the drive ;) Because show training is really worth a 4 hour return trip for when you can walk around the corner

OK Looks like Ive decided to go put a tarp down in the morning, Can't wait for an early start to walk the dogs before I leave, hooray for 5am starts, Not

My dogs are sometimes left for 10 plus hours each day.. not often, but they cope fine. We get around the three feeds a day by leaving our puppy inside, with a kong and chicken wing for lunch, or if we are not going to be as long, she gets fed before work, after work, and supper after our dinner. There is no way we would be able to leave work to feed her, we live too far away, and we have noone to feed while we are away, Works for us! We couldn't afford to have four dogs if we both didn't work, Im sure alot of people couldn't.

Im entered all three days with our Aussie Shepherd bitch.. can't help you though, This will be our third show! Can't wait for a weekend away.. Its my birthday and my older Aussies birthday on the Saturday, so we will be the ones celebrating nothing in our gazebo

Im thinking of taking mine off commerical food, Just a bit worried about our puppy on it, making sure she gets everything she needs, they get 75% raw now, a mix of chicken, beef and lamb mince, any in season fruit and veg, or anything that is generally cheap.. sardines, eggs and chicken wings/drums, beef soup bones and lamb flaps.. They get Royal Canin mixed in with their mince every second night ( we feed bones in the morning, mince at night). We also give yoghurt mixed in every few days.. Sorry to push into your thread S&S, but can anybody reassure me what Im feeding, minus the dry, would be OK for my almost four month old Aussie Shepherd?

Id be dropping them at the pound too, as much as you worry about what happens once they are there.. Ive threatened to do it to my next door neighbours dog, because I dont want their entire rottweiler puppy near my entire bitch when they are both older! (of course i'll be supervising mine whenever shes outside though!)

I honestly wouldn't have a clue.. I buy everything in bulk for our four, chicken mince is $1 per kg, beef is about $3.50 per kg, my eggs are free, chicken frames are 90cents a kg.. I buy royal canin in bulk for all four too.. last probably 3 months.. So to feed: Mini foxie chihuahua cross, 8 years old, 6kg Pug, 2 years old, 9.5kg Australian shepherd, 11 months old, 25kg Australian shepherd, 3.5 months old, 7kg About $20 a week?

Don't worry, my two Aussie Shepherds are Husky crosses, because my boy is a blue merle, and my girl, has blue eyes.. Generally its Husky cross 'lassie dog' or cross border collie..

I got my numbers today too.. Maybe Peach will have some competition... Hope not, will make me looks worse

Hi Guys! I need a favour next weekend at Hillsborough.. I have a baby shower to go to at about 11 on the Saturday, for a couple of hours, but my OH will be there until about one in the afternoon, Im hoping to be back by about two thirty, three at the absolute latest (I think I would have to kill myself being around babies any longer than that ) Sooo.. can anybody watch my two aussies for a couple of hours, They pay in kisses and high fives, and of course they are So well behaved

I can't wait until hillsborough either Aziah, If you see us come up and say hi!

Rylestone and Kandos are in the middle of nowhere, I love it there OH works at cement australia occassionally for work in Kandos.. he hates it there! I doubt I can get out of work for the maitland and cessnock shows, too many people off for holidays in february, so Im lucky enough to be getting my birthday off for Armidale.. Will be doing Medowie on the Sunday though!

Arvos are best for me too! Ive done alittle stacking work but that about it...show training will be back on soon...wonder if its on this week! I have a feeling it is. has it been two weeks since we were there? I'll just turn up and hope for the best.. LOL if it isn't if your up for it we can have a practice on our own! Fiona, Sammy and I live in Kurri and Cessnock, so go to Cessnock for training, but others go to Hillsborough, I have a feeling that its on every second tuesday evening, Im sure someone will be able to help you with that! I have a snake chain for my girl, borrowed from a doler, but you can buy show leads online or at some shows! Now will it be you or your OH showing? Im hopefully dragging OH along this week Sammy so the blue boofer should be there as well, great news is he is going through a major coat drop so his fuzzybutt is disappearing!!

I sure am! Though it would probably have to be in the afternoon for me to make it, working a whole heap this week and next week.. Havent done much practicing since Morissett so really should drag the show lead out and get my butt back into gear..
