You can get some powder from the vet that cost $14.00 per day. You have to use it for a week. Yes as Pixie said you are not alone, I have had a few that done it. Most stop after a couple of weeks, and one of mine well she 2 and was still eating it.

Yes definately dog obedience. It works wonders. You must be there when the children are out playing, and use the word no or bah in a harsh voice. But also make sure the children are stirring her up or even if there is an adult that has fun stirring the dog will often lead to mouthing. Or you can try step two, pull her teeth out lol. Ok that was not so funny. But yes definately dog obedience.

Sorry to hear about Murry, hope he is well soon. Nothing worse than not knowing what is wrong and what to do about it. Pity they cant talk hey. Maybe you should suggest to the vets to use Clavulox, its great with tummy infections and upsets. Also did hear ages ago, someone having similar problems, the dog had eaten some bark in the backyard. A tiny piece was caught inside the dog somewhere (sorry cant remember), but it was so small an exray didnt even pick it up. Maybe you could suggest this to the vet aswell. Sorry its the only advice I can give. Hope Murry is Ok.

Re: Post put on Breeders Community. Sorry Dane Chick for the loss of Hope tonight. Im sure she knew you loved her with all your efforts to save her. She is now on the rainbow bridge with her brother and sister. All 3 puppies are at peace now.

cooked liver does the trick every time. Make sure you only give small amounts as it will cause the runs and gasses if you know what I mean. Tiny bits only.

Although Leo ear cleaner is one of my best, its not the drops that you need to use. My vets gave me a cream to put in their ear, and you also have to find out what foods your dog is allergic too. The cream goes into the earcanal, but only can get from vets.

I found George to be really good when I lived in Melbourne. If you show there is a man in working dogs who wears overalls that does it too. Not sure of his name. Now Im in Ballarat and there are 2 good chiros up here. Unfortunately they are of no use to you. Hope you find a good chiro and your dog is well soon. Nothing worse than pain.

Just wondering why so many dog bickies in one day. I usually only give this once a day. Have you tried chicken necks, wings, pet mince. Something is obviously upsetting her tummy if she throws up certain foods. i would see the vet as they can diagnose what she may be allergic to. Most of what you are doing is great, just remember all dogs are different, and we all bump into problems. Good luck and keep us posted. By the sounds of it she/he has a tummy bug. Do you regularly worm? Fully vacc etc.

"Sorry but would hardly think the amount used to get the pup feeling better would be expensive. I only ever use 1/4 to 1/2 the yoghurt before my pups are well. The rest is just good for the pup to finish off, if you chose to keep giving pup this on a daily bases, then yeah chose the cheaper variety. -

Ok have been down the street this morning and the name of the yoghurt is Jalna, Fat Free Natural Yoghurt, contains Acidophilus, Bifudus, Casei, there are two other yoghurts under the same brand which look good as well. They are Jalna Bio Dynamic. Its best not to change the puppies diet too much as this is what probably caused the runs in the first place. Probably better giving this yoghurt for now mixed with Puppy Pal, and then slowly change his diet. Good luck and let me know how he goes. :D -

I have often used Plain Yoghurt. Its in a green and white bottle. This will ease the dogs tummy, and cod liver oil has been great to start their bowls working again. Although recently I have heard they no longer sell cod liver oil, so maybe have to stick to the yoghurt. If worst comes to worst, then its best to contact your vet on something else they may have.
