This time around I did four matings a day apart as he was 14 months old adn she is a proven bitch. No idea how many pups resulted as she is still carrying them Last time same bitch much older stud we did at least 4 matings every day, the last was the longest tie of 40 mins Him & I were begining to get bored. She typically ties for 20 mins. BB

I hope you have an easy whelp DURING DAY TIME Rajacadoo. I am counting the days until Jess has hers. She is day 60 on Friday from first mating. I haven't been taking her temp either as I can't find a working battery operated thermomoter, I have several that the battery has died and haven't got around to replacing them. BB

With our very first litter we were told that if the mum goes off her feed she will give birth that day. Wellllllll...................... They forgot to tell our bitch, she ate her breaky then around midday she started to give birth to 7 healthy pups. Schipps are just vaccums when it comes to food so they rarely refuse food. How true is this saying/ Does anyone want to guess? BB

Get the breeder of your dog to sign up with PETPLANS breeder programme then you get 6 weeks free of insurance when you get the puppy home. I think you can then pick up a brochure from a vet clinic during the 6 weeeks and when you upgrade you can get four weeks free. BB

get better soon Ophanbark. I had a couple of wisdom teeth removed on the Friday so was house bound all weekend as my face puffed right up, plus the drugs i am on make me dizzy. BB

Our breed club offers it all the time, but sadly no one enters. I have been pushing for our group club to hold this class but they always said no due to various reasons. Hopefully they will offer it next year since this years schedule was approved just prior to this new rule coming out. BB

We didn't ultrasound Jess so we have no idea how many she is carrying. Yes I am curious but we are going to wait for nature to take its course. Newfiesrus, CONGRATS on your bitch. Sorry to hear of the little pups passing over the Rainbow bridge. BB

I Wouldn't have a clue as I was home all day. Hopefully a dog with four legs won. BB

Pups are due around 29th June 2010. FAQ's:::: No we wont end up with parti coloured pups or pups with white or colored sections. Not sure if we will have cream or gold pups as the gold is a recessive gene. BB

Group 7 breeds were completed outside about 3pm on Saturday and group specials were done inside about 5pm. PLUS we could not hear the PA system up our end, ech time we thought it was in use the whole area stopped talking to try to hear what was being said. BB

We have a Holden Station Wagon -Acclaim. Our dogs travel in crates on the back seat folded down. Under the crates is a picnic rug so when the dogs jump into the crates they don't put thier dirty paws on the seat. Still we have dog hair everywhere. We couldn't have them loose behind the cargo barrier as they would all jump out at the same time when the door is opened and we put all our gear behind the barrier any way. BB

Intermediate in show went to the a grp one dog I think. I barely had room to stand behind the Akita but apparently the judge had a good look at Ziggy who didn't put a foot wrong. The baby Schipps were so very cute I could have taken one home but alas we have enough dogs. Why do some babies have to grow up??? Gen Specs weren't finished until 5pm. BB
