Blakbelgian replied to Bilbo Baggins's topic in General Dog Discussion
:D ;) ;) Sorry to hear of this tragic accident, don't know the details but I hope the owners aren't blaming themselves. I have my fingers crossed that you find the right photo. BB -
Did they get a big entry? No idea of numbers in the groups as we didn't enter. BB

GO ZANE (CH Hapipet Mystery Solved JD) the Schipp. :D ;) He absolutly adored the crowd while benched. Apparently he prefered to sit ontop of the trolley than on the bench with a nice soft cushion. BB

Anyone Doing Horsham Ag On Wednesday?
Blakbelgian replied to Missymoo's topic in General Dog Discussion
Sorry to hear about your little accident Missymoo, is the damage noticeable? Good luck to those who are going, I too am interested in the grp 7 results but not the poodles but the breed AFTER the Poodles. BB -
Well done on your pups first show. Kaycee walks like a dream on the lead, Layla is still fighting the lead but she'll get the hang of it. BB

What's Another Breed Selection Thread? Hehe.
Blakbelgian replied to tianakaesha's topic in General Dog Discussion
A SCHIPPERKE ticks all those boxes and you could add to the list no health problems. No doggy oudor when wet. Just needs a brush when they moult once a year when desexed. Not yappy. Would need secure fences though. Still have the instinct to chase vermin. Happy to sit on the couch with you. Any other questions please ask. BB -
Well the show should be up to Gen Specials by now, does anyone know the grp 7 results? Or did everyone stay home and recover from the royal? BB
-
Thank you FBC. Looks like they may have good weather for this show this year. BB

Morning Tea For The Judge & Steward/s
Blakbelgian replied to Rottsup's topic in General Dog Discussion
When my OH is stewarding & I am entered he is allocated to a different group. During the day I may have a quick word to him about something otherwise I can ignore him all day. BB -
Good Luck to BBJ handling Timmy the Keeshond. Can I have the results when available please? BB

I put a lead on the Kaycee & Layla yesterday. (one at a time of course) Kaycee was a natural, he just followed me & stopped to watch the cars go by. Layla on the other hand, she put the brakes on & wouldn't move until I waved some hotdog infront of her nose. Will see if Kaycee was a fluke or he'll put the brakes on this time. BB

I have my fingers crossed that jester comes around and trusts your hubby. BB
-
I know its irrelevant but do you know what breed she was mated to? Fingers crossed she only has one puppy. BB
-
Can some one please post how many are in each group? Didn't enter this year as I thought the grounds would be a mud pit again adn the Loos keeping blocking. BB

Shelby, Toby left for his forever home via the Big birds in the sky to Adelaide. At this stage we have kept Layla & Kaycee. They will be shown shortly. Teamsnag, they are such cute photos. Its hard to train two pups when all they want to do is play. We invited our pups cousins over the other day as they are 3 weeks younger than mine. My guys stole their toys from their crate They didn't want to play with their own. The five pups had a ball with each other & slept the rest of the afternoon. BB

Most of our guys do it as well. We call it the dead frog. Was once told it means they have good hips. BB

Thanks everyone. With the Nightly Sweeps does anyone have a final figure of how many breeds were in the ring? I think there were: 2 Silkys, 2 Schipps, 1 Bedlington, 1 Collie Smooth,1 Collie Rough, 1 St Poodle, 6 Aussie Shephereds (?) 1 GSP. Didn't think Ziggy would win as he kept moving his back foot after I told him to stand. Loved the corner block that we were benched in. BB

Thanks heaps Sway. I would of liked to see 53 Frenchies that would of been a fantastic BOB certificate. It's 8:50pm and still no results are up on the website. Perhaps IF the RASV employed a DOLER the results would be up instantly just as Sway is doing. BB

Well it looks like our breed is right next to the door in L block, don't think we'll get much peace what with all the screaming kids & babies walking past. Glad I'm not bringing my baby puppy and that my boy is rock sold with crowds. BB

Thanks Cavalblaze & Hespanander, I am starting to get attached to kaycee. The pedigree names were alot of work between OH & I. Sorry to hear Cavalblaze that the owners ignored your suggestion as to when to de sex. If I were the owners & a vet pushed that idea I would find another vet and or clinic to attend if there was plenty around me to to choose from. Hope she gets her appetite back soon. Rajacadoo, sorry to hear about the airports stuff up, I hope yuor puppy wasn't delayed for too long. My guys are having a 2nd Vacc today. BB
