Blakbelgian replied to Joan of Arc's topic in General Dog Discussion
Baby puppy in show on Sunday was Smooth Dachie, I think it was a boy thats all I know. Saturdays RUBIG 7 Was Schipp Gr Ch Beadale Little Captain all the way from SA. That made the drive worthwhile. Sunday Baby Puppy in Grp 7 was Schipp Adorin Prince of Mystery. BIG & RUBIG were Mini Poodles owned by the Hopkins. Lovely weather on Sunday. Chocolate cake was nice from the canteen. BB -
Corowa / Albury Shows 30 April & 1 May

Looks like it will be a nice couple of days. Good luck everyone. BB -
It is a small square grass area with approx 4 hay bayles for boys or girls to cock their leg on. Wouldn't want to be the person changing the bayles. It is on your RHS as you enter from gate 7. BB

What if every dog exhibitor put a note of complaint in with their entries about the lack of a decent dog toilet area? I wonder if the RASV would even take notice of them? And everyone is supposed to toilet dogs in a particular time, I don't think soo many dogs would fit in that small square! BB

Can some one pretty, pretty please check their MONDAY PM catalogue for me and tell me how many in grp 7? I did not get a catalogue for any of the Monday shows and I need the amount for my baby in group result for the DOL pointscore. Thank you heaps. BB

I bet the RASV will once again put up the entry prices. Why can't they be more reasonable??? Does anyone know anything about what sort of breeds they have in Brazil?? Or what are good websites to check out show dogs in Brazil? BB

I tagged along with Bilbo Baggins & Junior and I must say Dexter was very well behaved EXCEPT he tried to nibble on BBJ's t shirt on the drive home. He was a sweet boy, even tried to play with Schipp babies. Very long drive home but we all made it. Was a nicely run lot of shows, catering was very nice esepecially the Jelly puffs or were they Lamingtons with cream?? Even the sellers were discussing what to call them. BB

Its time again for the Mt Gambier Easter circuit. Today Friday BIG 7 was a St Poodle, no idea on name or color. RUBIG was Schipp-Zane-Ch Hapipet Mystery Solved JD :happydance2: Thats all I know. Hope everyone isn't getting tipsy on the wine tasting. :( :D BB

We have lets be friends too when girls are in season. Looked funny the other day while the two older girls were mounting each other our 3 month old pups tried the same thing or crawled under the girls belly so see what was happening. BB

We can only find Schipp stuff on Ebay, for Xmas just gone I asked my folks to purchase a sign saying: Schipperke Owners Parking only with arrows pointing in both directions and a pic of a Schipp. For a friend I brought them a sign saying "Protected by Schipperke Security" had a pic of a Schipp standing. Gotta love Ebay for rare breeds. BB

Noah was a sweet boy. I remember him playing with my Ziggy at the Sapphire coast shows. A G Dane & Schipp he was soo gentle with him. BB -
On our breed a nice high set tail that curls over does look good. But from what I have seen so far not many lines can produce these. Even our country of origin BELGIUM can't decide on what type of tail we should have. Curly over the back  ;) or low set & hung in repose :D like a GSD. On some girls I can see a tail but on some boys I cant imagine them with one. Cant get used to a Dobe with a l o n g curly tail, or the OES or the Schnauzer. BB

How To Get A Dog To Gain Weight?
Blakbelgian replied to Blakbelgian's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
Thanks for the suggestions guys. Worming was done a cuple of days prior to collection. They have increased the amount of food so will wait & see how long it takes. BB -
Hi all smart DOLERS, I am after some advice regarding a friends dog. It is a medium size breed should weigh about 7 kilos but is 5.5 kilos. The dog lived on acreage so is well muscled and used to excercise. How can they put weight on her safely? All medication is up to date and the dog is healthy. The dog will still be walked everyday so it doesn't become bored or try to escape. The other dogs in the household eat boiled chicken mince with pasta, mixed with dry food. Plus big meaty bones & other treats. Thanks BB

Show was well run. Loved the Chocolate Sponge cake. One small gripe was that we had a small thermos (only holds two cups water) and was asked to pay for water to fill it. And we did purchase cakes & scones to have with a cuppa. Ok second gripe, isn't this the second year that the toilets needed attention to by a plumber?? My babies enjoyed rolling around on the lush grass. See you all next year. BB
