Just wanted to add a post singing the praises of Pets at Peace.
I'm currently dogsitting for my neighbours and, unfortunately, on Saturday night one of their beloved dogs was bitten by a snake and passed away.
As I'm sure you can all imagine, this was an incredibly traumatic time for these people and as they are not returning until next week something had to be organised very quickly. I rang Tony from Pets At Peace in Canberra the following day, he came out and picked her up that night and allowed me to put some photos and a 'lolley trolley' with her, as her owners had wished. He was so polite and respectful, he made the whole situation a lot easier to deal with and although money is not an issue when it comes to pets, the service is very affordable.
I would like to say a big thank you to Tony for offering a much needed service, and although obviously it is not a 'service with a smile' business, he was just wonderful. I recommend them highly, and urge anyone faced with such a dreadful situation to make use of the service.
